Unfortunately, I than went to the bathroom and my experience really went down hill. The toilet facilities were terrible. The toilet flusher button was broken, there was paper towel all over the floor, there was no hot water and there were dirty finger marks everywhere. Eeekkk!
It left me pondered “if this is what the toilet looks like – what does the kitchen look like?”, “is this how they run their business?”, and most importantly “Will I ever come back?”
My experience from this morning is not an unusual one. I really do not understand why so many restaurants in the hospitality industry invest so heavily in great fit outs, fresh produce, well trained staff and then treat their toilet facilities as an afterthought.
Obviously, something they do not teach in Master-chef !
